D'arcy's Resurrection

D'arcy woke to find himself in the Free City of Greyhawk, having just been resurrected by the Patriarch of Olidammara. Shalm, the patriarch (hClr13) explained that his companion Julius had brought him to the patriarch, but had then disappeared.
The next few days, D'arcy spent recuperating and investigating the city.

D'arcy was called before the Patriarch, who had a request: a holy relic of the church, a rapier of desperate measures (see Complete Divine) had been lost in Riftcrag. As one of the more experienced members of the faith, D'arcy was called upon to find it and reclaim it. D'arcy agreed.

D'arcy met Misao, a Baklunish Soul Knife of the order of Xan-Yae, who was going to aid him on his quest for reasons of her own. The two began preparations for their journey. Needing more money, they also began to investigate rumours of a burial mound in the Cairn Hills that apparently had treasure for the taking... if they could breach the front door.

The two, almost at the mound, were attacked by a Peryton. D'arcy took some minor damage before slaying the beast. The session finished as they found the tunnel leading downwards...
D'arcy is currently a 9th level character, with one Negative Level due to being resurrected. Misao is a 3rd level Soul Knife, played by Greg. The adventure should continue next week, played before the other campaign session begins.
