The Vampire's Lair II

D'arcy, Cassie, Karena and Lukas returned into the lair again, and explored the tunnels behind where they'd killed the flesh golem. They quickly discovered an Umber Hulk which it had been guarding against.
After that was dealt with, further investigations revealed a gravity-shaping Gravorg and a mysterious group of strangers who warned the party against further intrusions - they kept in darkness so the party never got a glimpse of them.
The party resolved to check the double doors - on the other side of them were some ghouls and a Cleric of Nerull. No diplomacy was possible as Cassie immediately fireballed the cleric and the ghouls. In the resulting combat, D'arcy was slain by the cleric's spells (and could not be raised by anything the party possessed). The party looted the cleric's treasure and returned to town.

D'arcy's body disappeared overnight - the remainder of the group have no idea where it might have gone.

Cassie meets with the cleric of Wee Jas, Jessica. Lukas begins crafting magic items. Over the next few weeks, Cassie spends a lot of time socializing, whilst Lukas spends a lot of time crafting.

Cassie hires a bodyguard - Ulfgar, a Dwarven Defender. (This is Ben's new character, to replace D'arcy).

Cassie finally gets around to sending a message to Talain, telling them where the group is.

Cassie holds a party at her new mansion, Talain arrives and catches up. Cassie also meets with the treasurer of the town.
