Designers' Notes
Mike Donais
The 4th set is named Giants of Legend. How it will be soldexactly may not match what is in the WotC catalogue. The catalogue textwas written many months ago and the set isn't out for many months stillso there is opportunity for it to be not entirely correct.
It is not a starter set and is not 80 minis.
The set is quite cool.

Giants of Legend will only be sold in one size box thatcontains nine minis: the 8 in the rarity mix you've become accustomedto plus a Huge mini.
Rules Insert
Save=10:
Many high level creatures have this ability. When makingsaves, including morale saves, such creatures always add 10 to the rollinstead of adding their level. When making morale saves, they still getto add the Commander rating of a commander within range.
Lich Necromancer's Commander Effect:
The Lich Necromancer has the ability to transformdestroyed enemies within range into Undead creatures underits command. This has the following consequences:
Like summoned creatures, newly created Undead creatures donot activate on the round they are created. They do notadd to a warband's cost, and opponents do not scorevictory points for them.
Only one new Undead creature is created per livingcreature destroyed in this way, even if more than one LichNecromancer is in range. If two or more players controlLiches that could create the new Undead creature, dice offto see which one does so.
The newly created Undead creature must be a miniature fromthe collection of the player controlling that LichNecromancer. A player who does not have an appropriateminiature handy is out of luck.
In Limited play, this Commander Effect functions only solong as your limited pool of miniatures includes legalUndead creatures. Once eliminated, such a miniature couldbe used again later in the same skirmish.
Baaz Draconians and creatures with the Death Burst abilityare immune to this Commander Effect. (No corpse remains toanimate.)
Living Construct:
Creatures with the Living Constructability have only limited immunities. They do not haveFearless. They have the special ability Immune LevelDrain, Paralysis, Poison, Sleep. They can be healed likeliving creatures, and Confusion, critical hits, Dominate, flanking, Incite, Sneak Attack, and Stun affect themnormally.
Tiny Creatures
The GoL set also introduces a Tiny creature, the Quasit, with a 12mm base. Most Tiny creatures have the Tiny Reachability, which prevents them form making attacks ofopportunity. Otherwise Tiny creatures are like othercreatures.
