Errata

  • Dwarf Artificer:The rust construct spell, which lists a lot of nasty thingsthat happen to the target of the spell, fails to clarify in the spell'stext that only constructs are valid targets of the spell.Non-constructs aren't affected, so only warforged, golems, and the likehave to fear this spell. - RobHeinsoo.

Designer Comments

  • Deathknell and Angelfire are 200 point sets. Theydo have plenty of minis that are interesting in 100 and 500 but theyare basically 200 point sets. - MikeDonais
  • The Minotaur skeleton is better with Deathknell, especially with the newnecromancer. - Mike Donais
  • More Chainmailequivalents are coming. A few inDeathknell and a few in the set after that, certainly. - Rob Heinsoo
  • We'll start running previews in December, and willpreview a big bunch of minis before we're done. I'm inserting this notebecause I showed my wife the Deathknell set the other day. She doesn'tplay D&D but she usually thinks the minis sets are prettycool-looking. Not so cool-looking that she spends much time with them, though. Deathknell was the exception. I kept her entertained for overten minutes pulling minis out of the box one at a time. In her opinion,it was the best set we've done. That's the opinion of someone whotreats these minis only as eye-candy. But I think the content of theset matches the set's looks, so I'm really looking forward to this onecoming out. - Rob Heinsoo
  • Mina is not in Deathknell (unique has a double meaning inDeathknell, it would seem), and she won't be legal until July or so. - Stephen Schubert (There is only one Unique in Deathknell -Rask, Half-Orc Chainfighter)
