Recent events and Giants of Legend

Well, things have been annoying of late - I've had to replace three tires on my car. This is money I don't really have to spend (and it's played mighty havoc with my plans for getting packs of Giants of Legend!) Then my boss forgot to put my timesheet in before the date I got paid, causing me a few days of grief as I had to run around trying to get money before the weekend to pay a few debts. (Those tires, you know).

It'll be another month before I can finish paying off the money I owe to people, but in the meantime I've bought a small amount of Giants. Four boosters, to be exact, but I've also bought a few singles at what I consider to be very good prices.

Here's what I got from the boosters:
Fiendish Tyrannosaurus (x2)
Nightwalker
Treant
*
Manticore
Mordenkainen the Mage
Blue Slaad
Drider Sorcerer

I'm extremely happy with the rares, although it's disappointing not to get a Rare Huge in the boosters. Oh well.

I traded one of the Fiendish Tyrannosaurus for a Fomorian

The individual miniatures I've bought (and the prices) are given here:
Storm Giant (aus$17 = us$11)
Glabrezu (aus$17 = us$11)
Behir (aus$25 = us$17.50)
Fire Giant (aus$10 = us$7)
Stone Golem (aus$8 = us$5.60)
Blue Slaad (aus$8 = us$5.60)

As one may note, I'm also very happy about those. According to Zenako's Online Pricing Trends list (which you'll find on the maxminis boards), the rare huge figures are going for about US$25 each...

I'm going to start up a new 'blog to detail the events in my Greyhawk campaign. I will hopefully keep it updated better than this one!
